Ella Hunt is set to star in the horror thriller 'Bella', produced by the renowned writers of 'The Conjuring', Chad and Carey Hayes. This marks the first project for the newly launched Hayes Brothers Films production banner. The film, scripted by Chris Grillot, delves into the psychological journey of a college student (Hunt) obsessed with winning a beauty pageant, facing the pressures of her overbearing mother and a mysterious stalker. As the pageant approaches, she races to uncover the stalker's identity before it's too late. Directed by Dylan Doornbos Hayes, the son of Chad Hayes, this feature film expands on a concept that the team first explored in a short film titled 'Bella' in 2019. The production team includes Mandy June Turpin, Daniel Ragussis, and Todd Slater, with Kontakto Films and Red Sea Media handling financing and world sales. Hunt expressed her excitement about the project, highlighting the exploration of toxic beauty standards and parental expectations. Dylan Hayes praised the script's depth and Hunt's suitability for the role, while the Hayes brothers expressed their enthusiasm for launching their production banner with this bold and commercial story.
