Alice Cooper, the legendary rocker, recently reunited with his original bandmates for a special performance at the 2025 'Christmas Pudding' event. The band, which includes guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith, performed a short set at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. Stepping into the late Glen Buxton's shoes was Nashville-based guitarist Gyasi Heus, who also played guitar on the recently released album 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper'.
This album marks the first full album by the original Alice Cooper band since 1973's 'Muscle Of Love'. The band played a mix of their hits along with songs from 'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper'. Each year, the 'Christmas Pudding' event features appearances by musicians dedicated to raising money for Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Centers, which offer music, dance, art, and vocational programs for teens aged 12 to 20.
Alice Cooper shared that the reunion with the other original members of Alice Cooper came about smoothly. They had no bad blood or legal disputes, and they stayed in touch. Finally, they decided to work on a new album with producer Bob Ezrin, and the result was a smooth and successful collaboration, sounding exactly like the music from 1975.
The band performed together in 1999 at the second Glen Buxton Memorial Weekend, and another reunion concert took place in 2010 at Alice Cooper's 'Christmas Pudding'. They also appeared at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony in 2011. Alice Cooper continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with his dark and horror-themed theatrics, bringing his brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new.
